Luohu sub-venue of Shenzhen Artsan Week 2024 opens
The Luohu sub-venue of Shenzhen Artsan Week opened on Dec. 11, celebrating the ethos of labor, model workers, and craftsmanship through innovation and tradition.
This year’s event, following rigorous expert evaluations, honored three “Luohu Master Craftsmen” and two “Luohu Craftsmen.” The recipients represent excellence in fields such as senior optometry and jewelry design.
The event featured captivating skill demonstrations, experience sharing sessions, and visual exhibits that highlighted the stories of Luohu’s craftsmen, showcasing the artistry and dedication that define the spirit of labor.
Notable demonstrations included Ding Quan, a senior engineer and recipient of the Shenzhen May 1 Labor Medal, who showcased the intricate techniques behind the Luban Lock. Jiang Kunkun, a recognized Shenzhen technical expert, presented advanced beverage preparation methods. Tea art master Hu Xuanfen shared the elegance and precision of tea-making.
Since 2021, Luohu has recognized 55 individuals as “Luohu Master Craftsmen” and “Luohu Craftsmen,” underscoring society’s growing admiration for craftsmanship and the hardworking individuals behind it.
