Luohu promotes high-quality development of silver economy
On May 28, a silver economy investment promotion conference was held in Luohu by the Luohu District Civil Affairs Bureau and organized by the Luohu District Elderly Service Industry Association. This is Shenzhen's first investment promotion conference focusing on the silver economy. At the event, the "Several Measures to Promote the High-Quality Development of the Silver Economy in Luohu District" (referred to as the "Silver Economy Measures") were released.
The silver economy, with vast potential, is emerging as a new growth driver. This conference served not only as a platform for policy release and information exchange but also as a starting point for cooperative opportunities. Luohu District aims to continuously promote the clustering of silver economy projects, industries, and parks, offering new opportunities for enterprises and better services for citizens, fulfilling the needs and wishes of the elderly. The district invites all sectors to invest and grow in Luohu, working together to create new development chapters.
During the conference, Zhang Feng, Director of the Luohu District Civil Affairs Bureau, provided a detailed explanation of the "Silver Economy Measures." The policy focuses on four key areas: attracting investment, spatial clustering, industry integration, and sector development. It aims to promote industry clustering and integrated development, improve the industry chain, and gradually achieve large-scale, standardized, clustered, and branded development of the silver economy. Besides, an Elderly Service Resource Map was launched, providing a comprehensive view of local elderly service resources, facilitating the needs of the elderly, and promoting local industry enterprises.
The event attracted over a hundred enterprises from key sectors such as artificial intelligence, smart elderly care, elderly care technology, rehabilitation care, age-friendly products, dining, and real estate. During the conference, the Luohu District Civil Affairs Bureau signed cooperation agreements with nine companies, injecting new momentum into the development of smart products, professional care, medical health, and cross-border elderly care in Luohu.
Experts in the silver economy delivered keynote speeches, and company representatives shared their experiences, discussing national policies, analyzing the development trends of the silver economy, and its future trajectory. Three company leaders shared insights on elderly finance, new village collective elderly care models, and how medical beauty aids the silver economy, providing valuable references for exploring new models in the silver economy.
