On April 21, the opening ceremony of the 2024 Shenzhen Luohu International Tennis Open took place at the Luohu Tennis Center.
This tournament combines the ATF Men's Challenge Tour and the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, marking the inaugural mixed-gender competition. The event comprises four categories: men's singles, men's doubles, women's singles, and women's doubles, with a total prize pool of $120,000, including $80,000 allocated for the ATF Men's Challenge Tour and $40,000 for the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour.
The event is organized by the Chinese Tennis Association and the Luohu District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports Bureau, under the guidance of the Shenzhen Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports Bureau. It is managed by Shenzhen Xiantong Culture & Sports Operation Co., Ltd., with sponsorship from Zhou Liufu Jewelry Co., Ltd.
Luohu boasts extensive experience in hosting international sports events.
