Luohu looks to attract investment in key industries
Luohu district government recently held its 2022 investment attraction work meeting and released an action plan on investment promotion.
According to the action plan, Luohu plans to increase the operating revenue of businesses in the district by at least 25 billion yuan ($3.96 billion).
Luohu Party chief Liu Sheng said: “We should continue to focus on investment promotion and projects, and make investment promotion the main battlefield for stabilizing economic growth.”
Liu added that the most effective and fastest way to strengthen the industry's weak spot is to attract investment, increase investment, and accelerate development.
Luohu is ranked around the 20th among counties in terms of the scale of the gross domestic product in the country and one of the top 100 counties that have the best business environment.
Luohu looks forward to attracting enterprises and projects in software, information, health, security emergency, energy and environmental protection, blockchains, and other emerging industries of strategic importance.
Luohu founded seven special teams consisting of 21 young and capable civil servants to help seven key industrial development zones attract investment.
Liu hopes these civil servants can play multiple roles in attracting investment and serving the enterprises.
He said that the civil servants should take the initiative to look for enterprises, tap resources, and open markets to prompt Luohu to make new progress in attracting investment and to lay down a solid foundation for the district’s sustainable development.
